About the team
We are seeking a detail-oriented India Payroll Analyst to support end-to-end payroll processing for our India workforce. This role is ideal for a mid-level professional with hands-on experience in payroll systems such as Workday and ADP Celergo. The ideal candidate will ensure payroll accuracy, compliance with Indian statutory regulations, and provide support for international payroll operations where needed.Zillow Group is a strategic, mission-driven organization focused on delivering exceptional experiences and measurable outcomes. About the role
Process and manage end-to-end India payroll on a monthly basis
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF and labor laws
Validate payroll inputs such as new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, and deductions
Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Partner with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate payroll processing
Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with audit requirements
Support year-end activities including tax filings (Form 16, etc.)
Assist with payroll audits and respond to internal/external audit queries
Generate payroll reports and analytics for stakeholders
Support cross-border payroll activities and global payroll projects as needed
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field
5-8 years of experience in India payroll processing
Hands-on experience with Workday and/or ADP Celergo
Strong understanding of India payroll regulations and statutory compliance
Expert knowledge of the 2026 New Labour Codes
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
