The Industry Software organization builds the B2B SaaS platforms and products that power Zillow’s software and services for real estate professionals. We partner across Zillow to deliver scalable, revenue-critical solutions spanning shopper and listing workflows, identity and access management, and monetization systems that support purchasing, billing, entitlements, and internal operations.

About the role

As Principal Technical Program Manager, Industry Software, you will lead some of Zillow’s most complex and strategic cross-organizational initiatives. You will partner with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, and Design to turn strategy into execution, drive alignment across multiple teams, and deliver measurable outcomes across critical B2B platforms.

You Will Get To

  • Lead large, cross-functional programs from strategy and planning through launch and post-launch learning.

  • Translate business and product priorities into clear program plans, milestones, success metrics, and execution rhythms.

  • Align Product, Engineering, and Design teams on scope, sequencing, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs.

  • Drive program execution across complex platform areas, including identity, access, monetization, and internal tooling.

  • Communicate progress, decisions, and risks clearly to senior and executive stakeholders.

  • Partner with engineering and architecture leaders to ensure technical plans are scalable, realistic, and maintainable.

  • Improve how teams plan and deliver by strengthening governance, reporting, and program management practices.

  • Mentor partners and model operational excellence that increases clarity, quality, and delivery velocity.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $178,300.00 - $284,700.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $169,300.00 - $270,500.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are

  • You have 8+ years of experience in technical program management or a similar role leading large, cross-team programs in complex organizations.

  • You have strong experience with B2B SaaS products or platforms, ideally in areas such as identity, access, monetization, billing, or other complex business systems.

  • You have a track record of owning end-to-end delivery for complex technical initiatives, from definition through launch and iteration.

  • You are technically fluent in modern software architectures and can work effectively with engineering teams on systems, dependencies, and delivery tradeoffs.

  • You are highly effective at creating structure in ambiguous environments and influencing across functions and levels without direct authority.

  • You communicate clearly with both technical and executive audiences and can turn complexity into actionable decisions.

  • Experience mentoring TPMs, improving planning frameworks, or leading cross-organizational operating models is a plus.
