About the team

The Finance Technology team builds and supports the systems that power Zillow Group’s financial operations, including accounting, procurement, treasury, tax, billing, and revenue. The team partners closely with the CFO organization, Product, and Engineering to improve financial accuracy, support compliance, and help the business scale through both SaaS platforms and custom internal tools.

About the role

We’re hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead high-impact Finance Technology initiatives that improve how Zillow supports billing, payments, revenue, and financial operations. In this role, you’ll represent Finance in product and engineering discussions, help shape the Finance Technology roadmap, and drive complex programs such as new product onboarding, process improvements, system consolidation, and data quality enhancements. This role is ideal for someone who combines hands-on ERP and finance systems experience with strong judgment, cross-functional leadership, and clear executive communication.

You Will Get To

  • Lead cross-functional programs and drive Finance Technology roadmap execution across Finance, Accounting, Tax, Product, Engineering, and FinTech.

  • Lead Agile delivery by ensuring business and technical requirements are clearly defined, documented, validated, and prioritized.

  • Partner deeply on ERP and revenue systems such as Workday, Zuora Billing, and Zuora Revenue across AR, AP, billing, revenue recognition, tax, and integrations.

  • Facilitate solution design and decision-making that balances technical constraints with financial accuracy, controls, and compliance needs.

  • Deliver key initiatives such as onboarding new products to billing and payment systems, supporting system consolidation, improving business processes, and enhancing data quality.

  • Create executive-ready narratives, status updates, proposals, and risk assessments grounded in data.

  • Identify risks early, drive mitigation plans, and maintain accountability across cross-functional partners.

  • Support SOX, audit, close, and governance needs while building trusted relationships that enable coordinated delivery.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $148,600.00 - $237,400.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $141,200.00 - $225,600.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are

  • You have 5–7 years of hands-on experience with ERP and financial systems, including Workday, Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue, or similar platforms.

  • You bring practical knowledge of accounting fundamentals, revenue processes, tax considerations, and financial operations.

  • You have experience leading complex cross-functional programs across Finance, Accounting, Tax, Product, and Engineering with measurable business impact.

  • You can guide system design, integration, and workflow decisions and represent Finance effectively in technical and product discussions.

  • You are a strong written communicator who can create clear, narrative-driven documents and executive updates that explain issues, tradeoffs, and recommendations.

  • You have a track record of defining and delivering multi-quarter roadmaps and driving outcomes with a high degree of ownership.

  • You are familiar with SOX, audit controls, financial reporting environments, or other compliance-driven operational settings.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.

  • PMP certification, structured program management expertise, financial systems integration experience, or direct support of Accounting or Tax teams are a plus.
