We are a collaborative, results-driven team helping Zillow Group users make more informed decisions about buying, renting, owning, and selling homes. The multifamily Rentals sales team partners with owners and operators of rental properties throughout the United States to connect renters with the place they will next call home.

About the role

The Senior Sales Manager, Strategic Accounts, Rentals leads our efforts to activate and grow our largest inactive accounts within the Rentals ecosystem.

As the leader of this team, you will drive revenue growth, deepen partnerships, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction across key strategic accounts. You will define and execute the go-to-market strategy for these accounts and collaborate across Rentals and partner teams to advance revenue goals and strategic priorities.

You Will Get To

  • Lead and develop the Strategic Accounts sales team, including sales strategy, talent development, client relationships, sales production, and reporting.

  • Drive consistent, high-quality sales performance by using data and ongoing iteration to improve revenue, sales velocity, and closing ratios.

  • Define and roll out consistent activity metrics, sales processes, and team rhythms such as pipeline reviews and forecast meetings to increase predictability and performance.

  • Coach your team on sophisticated sales motions to enhance client retention, loyalty, and long-term account growth.

  • Guide the team through change in a fast-paced environment while fostering a culture that embraces learning and a growth mindset.

  • Build an engaged, inclusive, and growth-focused team environment that supports employee well-being and high performance in both virtual and in-person settings.

  • Partner closely with billing, operations, finance, product, marketing, and other internal teams to solve problems, remove roadblocks, and deliver results for our strategic accounts.

  • Represent Zillow Group Rentals externally by clearly communicating our value proposition through presentations, executive meetings, industry events, and sales proposals.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $122,000.00 - $195,000.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $116,000.00 - $185,200.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role are eligible for incentive compensation and equity awards. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 10+ years of sales experience, including 5+ years leading sales teams, with a strong track record of setting goals, managing pipelines, and driving accountability; enterprise sales experience strongly preferred.

  • Consistent history of meeting and exceeding sales targets at the team or business-unit level.

  • Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment, navigate ambiguity, and drive focus on the most impactful priorities.

  • Experience coaching teams through longer, more complex sales cycles that involve multiple decision-makers and influencers.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present effectively to senior and C-level stakeholders, both in writing and in person.

  • Proficient in CRM tools, with Salesforce preferred.

  • Able to travel 25–50% of the time for planned meetings with industry decision-makers at corporate, divisional, and national levels.
