The ASA (Agent Software and Advertising) organization at Zillow creates value for real estate professionals through our marketing, sales and productivity offerings. The team’s primary focus is the development and promotion of our Showcase and Premier Agent buyer leads products. We work closely with real estate professionals to ensure their successful adoption and utilization of our solutions that drive the growth of their businesses.

The Department:
The ASA Sales Operations team comprises 5 main pillars: Planning & Insights, Sales Strategy, Systems, Governance, and Enablement. Together these 5 pillars have a core priority to Accelerate Sales Productivity by executing the right annual strategy, sales segmentation, compensation levers, quotas, capacity & performance management plan, systems that drive automation and governance rules. This role directly contributes to setting the right compensation levers, the optimal quota and target deployment, defines capacity plans and guides performance management guidelines.

About the role

Zillow is looking for an analytical problem solver with strong business acumen to join our Sales Operations - Sales Governance and Support Team.. You will be involved in a number of projects including data validation, discrepancy investigation, compensation auditing, and escalation resolution.You will work in collaboration with our Frontline Enterprise Technology (FET) and Systems teams and report directly to our Senior Manager of Sales Governance. You will be primarily responsible for creating and enforcing compensation protocols and processes across the ASA sales org.

What you’ll do:

  • Validate sales compensation data and investigate discrepancies.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive audit suite for sales representatives' books of business and compensation.

  • Resolve compensation inquiries and escalations, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.

  • Generate and modify Google Sheet/Excel files to support compensation processes and reporting.

  • Document existing and newly established standard operating procedures for the complete product suite.

  • Manage dispute resolution pertaining to issues affecting representative compensation.

  • Collaborate with the Field Enablement Team (FET) and Systems teams to address issues related to Salesforce opportunities and compensation.

  • Advocate for business line rules to ensure consistent and equitable policies across the sales organization.

  • Complete monthly audit suite aimed at ensuring accuracy across multiple business systems

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce opportunity management in relation to compensation

  • Proficient in Excel with experience in data validation.

  • Prior experience in compensation administration, auditing, or sales operations is advantageous.

  • Capable of documenting and enhancing processes.

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience (preferably in a sales compensation support role) including extensive Salesforce knowledge and Excel proficiency

  • Proven experience in Business and/or Sales Operations
