About the team

The Cash Application Analyst is a member of the Cash Application team. The Cash Application team is responsible for the timely, complete, and accurate payment application. The team supports all products (including Media, Bridge Interactive, Dotloop, IMT, New Construction, Premier Agent, Flex, ShowingTime, StreetEasy, Mortech, and Rentals). Cash application is accomplished through various methods such as automation, manual entry, and utilization of a BPO. The cash application team is also responsible for ensuring that returned checks and rejected ACH payments are entered in the appropriate systems (Zuora, Salesforce, Workday, Braintree, and Boss)!

About the role

We are looking for a Cash Application Analyst who will join us in our mission to deliver timely, complete, and accurate cash application processes!

  • Supports accounting close by performing and auditing monthly cash application and bank account reconciliation
  • Drive changes in operational processes to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Build and maintain project plans for cash application initiatives
  • Partners with Flex business and billing teams to ensure data accuracy and timely invoice creation
  • Audits daily payment file and uses available data to identify critical issue payments
  • Prepares support documents for debit memos due to changes in upstream data
  • Support reporting and analysis for monthly metrics reviews
  • Reconciles financial data to bank activity and invoicing reports to ensure payment accuracy
  • Collaborates with Product, Business Operations, Accounting, and other partners to implement new processes and improve existing processes
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $21.55 - $32.25 Hourly. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3 - 5+ years experience
  • Proven experience in working in an automated cash application processes
  • Experience applying payments in High Radius, SideTrade or Emagia preferred
  • Experience with process improvement
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience using SQL, Power BI, or other analytical tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Google Docs
  • Solid understanding of SalesForce and Zuora preferred
