As part of the Industry Affairs team, you will do important work at the intersection of people, policy, and technology.

About the role

In this senior-level role, you will create key alliances with real estate trade organizations, MLS executives, brokerage executives, and policymakers to ensure we can accomplish our mission. You will provide strategic guidance and analysis of issues affecting our business and simultaneously execute on short-term and long-term goals.

You will be responsible for building relationships designed to produce sales opportunities for ShowingTime+, the new organization within ZIllow Group developing innovative solutions for brokers, teams, agents, associations, and MLS’s.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $150,200.00 - $239,900.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 10+ years of real estate industry experience preferred
  • Understand the regulatory framework and industry practices applicable to real estate associations, MLS’s, and brokerage operations.
  • Experience with software products, product integrations, and/or new product launches
  • Ability to acknowledge conflicting perspectives and formulate amicable solutions
  • Ability to challenge policies or practices that impede our ability to innovate
  • Experience with exposure to confidential information and an understanding of the importance of maintaining such confidentiality including legal and financial information
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced time management and analytical skills
  • Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle shifting priorities and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Work remotely, with the ability to travel 50-75% of the time.
