As a Director of Consolidation & Advancement of Platform Engineering, you will:

  • Proven strategic leadership by developing and communicating a clear vision for transformation, fostering a data-driven engineering culture, and completing strategic plans.

  • Implement operational excellence by defining and promoting standard processes, driving continuous improvement, and fostering agility in technology adaptation.

  • Lead multi-functional teams, influence partners for support, and champion collaboration, clarity, and a culture of data-driven decision-making.

  • Establish and track KPIs for monitoring progress, analyze data to drive actionable insights, and recruit, mentor, and grow impactful engineering teams.

  • Grow and scale the organization prioritizing engineering excellence, reliability, and predictable delivery, while collaborating with senior engineering leaders to continuously evaluate and update processes for efficiency and innovation.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $234,900.00 - $375,200.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • Demonstrated ability as an engineering leader

  • Solid track record of delivering production infrastructure in a cloud-centric architecture, driving adoption of new solutions, handling vendor relationships, scaling teams, and achieving results

  • Experience growing and building diverse and inclusive teams, working with partners, and collaborating across organizational boundaries

  • Entrepreneurial energy, ability to handle ambiguity, drive consensus, communicate well with both technical and non-technical co-workers, and resolve conflict

  • Strong verbal and writing skills

  • Experience in building and leading a geographically distributed team

  • Expertise in AWS cloud technologies
