About the role
As a Lead Advisor on our Wealth Management team, you'll provide comprehensive support to our high net worth clients ($2MM+) throughout their journey with us. Unlike traditional wealth management roles, this position is fully salaried with no commission structure or sales targets. Your performance will be evaluated on a balanced scorecard focused entirely on delivering world-class client experiences.
What you'll do:
Provide exceptional onboarding experiences for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition to Wealthsimple
Develop comprehensive financial plans tailored to each client's unique situation and goals
Create custom investment proposals that align with clients' financial objectives and risk tolerance
Proactively service client accounts, anticipating needs before they arise
Maintain regular communication with clients through phone, video, and in-person meetings
Apply your financial expertise to complex client situations involving corporations, trusts, and estates

Contribute your insights to improve our service offering and client experience
Skills you’ll bring:
CFP or IQFP designation required
CIM or CFA designation required
Additional designations including FEA, TEP, CPA, etc are a significant asset
8+ years of experience in wealth management or financial advisory roles, specifically working with HNW/UHNW clients
Proven track record of delivering exceptional client service
Strong financial planning and investment management knowledge
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Client-first mentality in all aspects of your work
Passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals
Technology-minded with the ability to leverage digital tools to enhance client experience
