About The Role
The Product Operations Lead is a hands-on operational role focused on facilitating governance and evolving delivery practices. They work across the organization, including with product, engineering, legal, security, client experience, marketing, and sales teams, to ensure alignment and compliance processes are practical and embedded in how product teams work. They play a central role in shaping delivery practices as the organization evolves and in building AI-powered enablement tools and processes that increase the product team's effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities

Lead governance facilitation across the product lifecycle, partnering with legal, security, and privacy teams to ensure risk assessments, privacy assessments, and AI governance reviews are streamlined and consistently applied; develop and maintain governance playbooks, templates, and workflows that give product teams the risk and compliance information they need to make informed trade-offs

Play a central role in evolving delivery practices, researching and recommending approaches that emphasize speed, collaboration, and iterative value delivery; coach teams through transitions

Partner with the Director on strategic initiatives including cross-department alignment, operating model evolution, vendor and tool evaluation, and organizational enablement

Support internal alignment rituals such as portfolio reviews and cross-team showcases, ensuring they surface the right information for decision-making and translate into action

Identify opportunities to use AI to automate governance workflows and build enablement tools that give product managers faster access to data, templates, and resources; ensure these tools have polished interfaces and integrate with the company's existing systems so they are actually adopted; build and iterate hands-on

Facilitate cross-functional coordination between product teams and go-to-market partners, ensuring launch readiness, release communication, and feedback loops are effective

Create and maintain product operations playbooks and resources; contribute to operational metrics development and analysis

Required Skills and Experience

5+ years in product operations, agile coaching, program management, or a closely related role

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Strong understanding of agile principles and delivery practices across multiple frameworks; certifications are welcome but not required

Demonstrated experience facilitating governance, compliance, or risk management processes within product development

Proficiency using AI tools to automate workflows and build lightweight enablement tools; attention to interface quality and system integration so tools are adopted rather than shelved

Strong facilitation and change-management skills with experience leading workshops, retrospectives, and cross-functional alignment sessions

Experience working with legal, security, or privacy teams in a product development context

Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex governance requirements into practical guidance

Self-starter comfortable working independently while coordinating with a distributed team

The pay range for this role is $100K - $110K and varies based on several factors including geographical location, level of experience related to the role, education/ licensure/certificates of the individual filling the role and other business and operational considerations.
