Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Continuous Improvement and Automation Manager to lead enterprise process optimization and intelligent automation initiatives across Trulioo, as part of the Transformation Office, which drives enterprise-wide continuous improvement, scalable operating models, and intelligent automation initiatives across the organization.

This role sits at the intersection of operational excellence, process redesign, and automation execution. You will identify inefficiencies, redesign workflows, embed continuous improvement methodologies, and implement automation and AI-driven solutions that enable scalable growth.

You will act as the front gate for continuous improvement and automation initiatives, partnering with business leaders, architects, and engineering teams to intake opportunities, build ROI-driven business cases, and deliver measurable operational impact.

This position requires strong analytical capability, technical fluency in automation technologies, and the ability to balance strategic roadmap ownership with hands-on execution.

This will be a full-time, permanent position working out of the Vancouver office on a hybrid model (3-days per week in the office).

What You’ll Be Doing:

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Lead enterprise-wide continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies

  • Map current-state processes across Operations, Customer Success, Compliance, Sales, Finance, and Engineering

  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risk exposures, and scalability constraints

  • Redesign and standardize workflows to improve cycle time, quality, cost efficiency, and compliance

  • Establish KPIs and operational dashboards to measure sustained performance improvements

  • Build a culture of continuous improvement through workshops, training, and structured problem-solving

Automation Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and evolve a clear automation strategy aligned with operational excellence objectives

  • Develop and maintain a value-driven roadmap prioritizing initiatives based on ROI, risk reduction, and scalability impact

  • Ensure automation initiatives support broader process redesign rather than automating broken workflows

  • Continuously reassess priorities based on performance insights and changing business needs

Opportunity Identification & Business Case Development

  • Partner with functional leaders to identify automation and process improvement opportunities

  • Assess automation feasibility across rules-based, data-intensive, and AI-augmentable workflows

  • Develop ROI-driven business cases, including cost savings, productivity gains, quality improvements, and risk mitigation

  • Present data-backed recommendations to leadership for funding and prioritization

Automation & AI Delivery Leadership

  • Lead multiple concurrent automation initiatives from discovery through deployment

  • Oversee delivery teams implementing automation and AI-enabled solutions

  • Drive implementation of automation tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Celonis, or Power Automate

  • Expand capabilities into AI-enabled automation, including intelligent document processing, predictive analytics, and emerging agentic AI use cases

  • Establish governance standards for automation lifecycle management, documentation, monitoring, and scalability

  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance requirements

Performance Management & Governance

  • Define and track KPIs tied to efficiency, adoption, cost reduction, SLA adherence, and quality improvements

  • Build reporting dashboards to monitor automation and process performance

  • Conduct regular roadmap and value realization reviews with executive stakeholders

  • Embed structured intake, prioritization, and governance processes for continuous improvement initiatives

What You'll Bring:

Experience

  • 8–10+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, automation leadership, or transformation roles

  • Demonstrated success leading process redesign and measurable performance improvement initiatives

  • Proven hands-on experience with automation tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Celonis, Power Automate)

  • Familiarity with AI-driven automation and emerging intelligent automation technologies

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and automation lifecycle practices

  • Experience working in high-growth technology, SaaS, fintech, or regulated environments preferred

Skills & Capabilities

  • Deep process mapping and root cause analysis expertise

  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to build ROI-driven business cases

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills

  • Strong backlog, prioritization, and performance reporting capabilities

  • Comfortable leading distributed or offshore delivery teams
