We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented university student to join our Quality, Compliance & Fraud (QC&F) team as an intern. In this role, you will work closely with our fraud analysts and quality specialists, supporting key initiatives aimed at ensuring compliance, improving processes, and reducing fraudulent activity.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, process improvement, and fraud prevention strategies while developing essential professional skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Support fraud investigations by analyzing bookings, payment transactions, and user behavior data to identify suspicious patterns.
- Compliance Monitoring: Assist in tracking and maintaining adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to streamline existing processes and develop tools for enhanced fraud detection and prevention.
- Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings, trends, and recommended actions for stakeholders.
- Special Projects: Contribute to departmental projects such as marketing campaign analysis and policy updates.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and customer care, to ensure cohesive fraud mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university program, preferably in a field such as Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; knowledge of tools like SQL is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Interest in fraud prevention, compliance, or process optimization.
