Viator is looking for a social media manager to help lead Viator’s social media into a new era. You’ll be working across our established and new channels to help oversee the execution of our social media strategy and the production and publishing of thumb-stopping content that helps us stand out. The ideal candidate is fluent in all things social and avid consumers. They are creative, proactive, and are always thinking about new ways for a brand to show up online. This role will have a direct report and share responsibilities with another member of the social media team, so a collaborative first mindset skills are key. This role reports to our Social Media Director.

The day to day functions of the role include:

  • Manage the day to day running of Viator’s brand social channels including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and more
  • Oversee the social media calendar
  • Manage content production including timelines, briefing, and adherence to strategy
  • Create/produce social media content for brand channels
  • Manage the monthly and quarterly reporting and benchmarking
  • Partner with our customer care team to provide support as needed
  • Support business wide social media asks

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • At 6-8 years of social media experience either at an agency or another brand
  • Experience managing at least 1 direct report
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
  • Experience making social media content for brands, including comfort being on camera
  • Experience working with social media management platforms and social listening platforms such as Dash Hudson, Sprinklr, or Sprout Social.
  • Experience with creative tools such as native editing tools, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  • A keen attention to detail and strong sense of creativity.
  • Excellent relationship building skills to work cross-functionally with teams across creative, paid social, analytics, and partners.
  • Excellent time management skills to balance multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.
  • Understanding of the social media landscape including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest, TikTok and any other emerging platforms.
  • A willingness to learn and a positive, can-do attitude
  • A love of all things travel.

The salary range for this role is $95,000 to $120,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
