WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

About the team: Clearing & Settlement is a highly skilled team with a significant role within Operations, dedicated to ensuring a timely settlement. The team is composed of professionals with diverse expertise and background coming together from around the globe. By leveraging diverse skill sets, the team works collaboratively to not only execute the daily business to the highest standard but also drive innovation, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor settlements with multiple brokers
  • Investigation of any discrepancies and reach out to respective teams/brokers for necessary corrections
  • Pro-actively chase counterparties and relevant groups in order to resolve settlement issues
  • Resolve problems arisen from unmatched items and implement long term solutions for frequently occurring issues
  • Document any exceptions in order to support the development team and build smooth automated processes.
  • Support Product Managers in defining detailed functional requirements for new processes
  • Involvement in projects and system improvements/testing activities

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Business, Economics or equivalent
  • Professional with minimum 2 - 3 years of experience within Securities Services
  • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, and solid organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of transfer life cycle, good familiarity with post-trade operations, securities settlement
  • A team player who is collaborative yet able to work independently
  • The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience and should have managed post trade operations in the past.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT, Clearstream Xact and Xitaro is advantageous.
  • Fluent with English, both verbal and written communication
