ABOUT THE TEAM

Corporate Actions is a highly skilled team with a significant role within Operations, dedicated to ensuring a smooth customer experience and efficiently managing the corporate actions lifecycle on behalf of the stakeholders. The team is composed of professionals with diverse expertise and background coming together from around the globe.

The team's main focus is ensuring that our customers are kept up to date and able to participate with the latest corporate actions affecting their positions in various types of financial products. We strive to meet all our customers expectations and provide a top class service. The team leverages their analytical skills & knowledge to ensure the highest standards are met.

By leveraging diverse skill sets, the team works collaboratively to not only execute the daily business to the highest standard but also drive innovation, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.



WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Work as an experienced member of the Corporate Actions team
  • Exception handling in case of errors or differences
  • Reconciliation of bookings and clarifications of differences internally and externally
  • Analyzing, checking & investigating voluntary and mandatory corporate actions announcements based on the information received by Swift and WM.
  • Ensure all Corporate Actions notifications, instructions and bookings are processed while meeting established standards
  • Involvement in projects and system improvements/testing activities
  • Supporting Product Managers in defining detailed functional requirements for new processes
  • Ensuring the four-eyes principle check without deviation from the standard framework
  • Supporting the team manager with daily controls & assessing team metrics and KPI’s
  • Help to ensure working instructions are updated on an ongoing basis
  • Working closely and efficiently with other operation units, custodians and customer service while ensuring and building high level communication and trust



WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong experience in corporate actions processing in particular handling & solving problems around the different types of corporate actions events
  • Strong knowledge of the global SWIFT messaging with regards to corporate actions
  • Continuous learner with a focus for process building and improvements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Business, Economics or equivalent
  • Professional with minimum 2 - 3 years of experience within corporate actions
  • Comfortable working under pressure and able to cope with high volumes during busy periods
  • Strong team spirit and work ethic while also been comfortable working autonomously
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, including management
  • You speak fluent English and you are Based in Berlin or willing to relocate (relocation package available)
  • SQL knowledge would be a big plus
