Our mission is simple: to motivate people to live their best active lives. We believe in the power of movement to connect and drive people forward.
To further this mission, we are looking for a Product Operations Manager to join our Product Operations organization during a period of continued growth. This role partners closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and cross-functional teams to help them plan effectively, execute consistently, and learn faster.
This is an individual contributor role focused on operational execution, system adoption, and team enablement, reporting into Product Operations leadership.
We follow a flexible hybrid model that translates to more than half of your time on-site in our San Francisco office — three days per week.
What You'll Do:
Own and evolve core product development operations, including planning cycles, product reviews, launches, and roadmap hygiene
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to enable effective execution and adoption of Strava’s product development model
Drive clarity and consistency across quarterly planning and OKR processes, ensuring priorities and progress are visible and understood
Identify friction in how teams operate and implement practical, lightweight improvements across processes, tools, and artifacts
Enable cross-functional alignment with partners such as Marketing, Comms, and Community Management, and contribute to special initiatives that improve execution, transparency, and velocity
You Will Be Successful Here By:
Bringing structure to ambiguous problems without over-engineering solutions
Balancing process rigor with flexibility based on team maturity and needs
Building strong working relationships and earning trust across disciplines
Communicating clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats
Demonstrating good judgment about when to standardize and when to adapt
Following through and driving work to completion
What You'll Bring to the Team:
You have 3 to 4 years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, Product Management, or a related operational role
You have experience supporting planning processes, product launches, or execution rituals in a product organization
You understand goal-setting frameworks such as OKRs and how they are used in practice
You have experience with tools like Airtable or Asana and have actively managed a team or company wide roadmap
You are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple workstreams at once
You enjoy working in evolving environments and are energized by bringing clarity to complexity
You have strong written communication skills and can synthesize information for different audiences
