Our mission is simple: to motivate people to live their best active lives. We believe in the power of movement to connect and drive people forward.
Strava is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Strategy & Operations Manager Analyst to join our Business Strategy team, with a specific focus on supporting our Marketing and Partnerships organizations. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with prior experience in Strategy & Ops or someone looking to transition into tech from a management consulting background, who is passionate about consumer tech, fitness and marketing.
In this role, you’ll be a key partner to Strava’s marketing leadership, helping shape and refine our marketing investments across brand marketing, growth marketing and partnerships teams. You’ll bring structured thinking and analytical rigor to ambiguous problems and drive the organization toward higher business impact. Your work will improve our overall decision-making and refine the connection between our company strategy and team-level strategy.
We follow a flexible hybrid model that generally translates to around half your time on-site in our NYC office —roughly three days per week.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with leaders across Brand, Growth and Product Marketing, and Athletic & Community Partnerships to shape and refine strategic priorities
- Support annual and long-range planning efforts by connecting marketing strategies to broader company objectives
- Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Data Science to evaluate marketing investments and track business impact
- Support competitor benchmarking to evaluate our positioning, identify new opportunities and guide decision-making
- Build compelling strategic narratives and recommendations for executive-level stakeholders
- Serve as a thought partner across multiple marketing teams, helping translate business goals into actionable plans
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 2–4 years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm or in a strategy role at a high-growth company
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to turn insights into action
- Expertise modeling in Excel and comfort with data (experience with SQL is a plus) as well as evaluating opportunities in data-light situations
- Ability to push back against stakeholders, using data to make compelling arguments
- Experience supporting or collaborating with marketing teams, ideally in areas like brand, partnerships, or growth
- Comfort with ambiguity and good intuition around how to have an impact without explicit direction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders
- Passion for Strava’s mission and the active lifestyle space
