What You'll Do
- Oversee the full lifecycle of projects, from inception to completion.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets and handle risk assessment and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all tasks, workflows, and deadlines are met in collaboration with squad leaders and external partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external partners, artists, venues, suppliers, and contractors.
- Manage vendor payments, invoices, and financial reporting.
- Ensure all legal documentation is in place, contracts are approved, and compliance with safety regulations and event standards is achieved.
- Collaborate with Music, Marketing, Legal and Talent teams to align programming, artist placement, and creative direction with Spotify’s brand and business model.
- Work closely with the Talent Squad to support value exchange and negotiations with artists and partners, ensuring alignment with industry sensitivities and Spotify’s artistic standards.
- Integrate artistry seamlessly into projects to enhance creative impact and audience experience.
- Maintain Spotify's production quality standards through oversight of all elements, including sponsor activations and audience experience.
Who You Are
- An experienced project manager with a consistent record to lead all aspects of complex, end-to-end projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- A strategic problem solver and diligent professional who excels at developing and leading project plans, workflows, and timelines while balancing multiple priorities.
- A natural collaborator and communicator who thrives in cross-functional environments, acting as a unifying point between internal teams and squads (Music, Marketing, Ads, PR, Legal, etc) and external partners (artists, venues, suppliers).
- Financially savvy, with strong budgeting and financial leadership skills to ensure projects stay on track and align with company financial objectives.
- A proactive problem-solver with expertise in risk management and compliance, ensuring all legal, safety, and operational standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Creatively driven and attuned to the music industry’s sensitivities and dynamics, aligning artistic elements and programming with Spotify’s brand identity and business goals.
- Quality-focused, ensuring all production elements—from sponsor activations to audience experience—meet Spotify’s high standards and reflect its reputation and values.
Where You'll Be
- This role is based in Mexico City, Mexico.
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
- We ask that you come in 2-3 times per week.
