What You'll Do
- Lead the strategy for podcasts in Argentina, covering all aspects including: Partner Management, Audience development and XFN work with Music and Comms teams. Your goal will be to grow podcasts users and consumption while engaging new creators.
- Regularly engage with strategic creators to mentor them about their content, help them grow their shows and use Spotify for Podcasters according to our standard processes, invite them to participate in marketing campaigns and events. Acquire potential podcasters that can make a big impact on consumption.
- Manage Activations at Casa Spotify including recordings and recordings with an audience that happen in our studio. You will be in charge of contacting creators, maintaining the schedule and making sure the content and promotional specs are delivered and shared accordingly.
- Develop and implement audience development plans through on platform promotion for key creators and up and coming voices.
- Provide support to our monetization partners, acting as a link between Megaphone, agencies/production houses that are using our platform and the creators that are working with them.
- Participate in cross functional opportunities, regional and local, advocating for podcasts objectives, including key creators in our activations and adding podcast lens to everything we do in the country.
- Support podcast creators in the rest of the South Cone, especially Chile.
Who You Are
- Relevant experience in media, podcast, digital, entertainment, tech or music industry.
- Business level written and spoken English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of the podcast industry and entertainment industry in Argentina.
- Consistent track record of developing and driving content strategies.
- Experience working with content creators and influencers.
- Familiarity with event production and planning!
- Motivated self-starter with hands-on solutions-focused demeanor; happy to adopt a bit of uncertainty and be part of change.
- Ability to multitask and work in an extremely fast-moving industry and environment, without sacrificing attention to detail
- Strong project management skills, with ability to balance short- and long-term priorities
- Strong strategic problem solver and resourceful problem-solver
- Great teammate who thinks locally, regionally and globally
