What You'll Do

  • Grow Audience Engagement. As a core team member, you will creatively use Spotify's range of creator and monetization tools to improve audience engagement for a designated group of creators, identifying the most appropriate products and match them with each creator's specific needs and opportunities.
  • Cultivate partnerships with key video creators and agents, from onboarding to being a passionate advocate of our creator tools. Fostering your strong network within the local creator and video industry is crucial to nurturing and growing these relationships.
  • Stay connected: Being humble and connected with creators, empathizing and keeping them informed about the latest updates and offerings, sharing valuable insights about the video and podcast industry to help creators thrive. Staying updated on industry trends and continuously learning is a key component of your role.
  • Collaborate & Partner Management: Working closely with different teams at Spotify, including programming, marketing, analytics, and operations, to support partners and add strategic value. Effectively collaborate and coordinate with these teams to ensure successful execution of projects and initiatives.
  • Events Planning & Engagement: You will contribute to the planning of creator engagement events in the market, such as conferences, shoots, recordings, press events, and show launch events. These events will provide creators with valuable opportunities to connect, learn, and showcase their work.

Who You Are

  • Industry experience: Proven track record of success in engaging or managing video creators. Your knowledge and skills in the local landscape make you an exceptionally qualified candidate for this position.
  • We thrive on connections. Tangible evidence of strong industry relationships, within the creator and video market and shown capability in nurturing and forming new partnerships.
  • Local Experience with Global Mentality: A strong understanding of the global creator landscape, as well as the nuances of the local industry. You are aware of the challenges that local creators face and can adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Business development experience: You have prior experience in business development, specifically in product advocacy with a focus on delivering results. Your capability to transform data-driven insights into effective partnership strategies will make you stand out.
  • Proactive and influential: You are a proactive and influential individual who can take initiative and lead through influence. Whether presenting to large groups or building rapport one-on-one, you excel at engaging and connecting with creators.
  • Previous experience in social and video platform or creator management sectors is highly valued. Your familiarity with these platforms will enable you to seamlessly transition into the role.
  • Relationship-building skills: You have excellent relationship-building skills and can effectively collaborate with multiple functions at all levels of the organization and industry. Your ability to connect with others will be instrumental in driving successful partnerships.
