ABOUT US:
Working as a part of the Audio Visual (AV) Tribe, you will be responsible for applications together with the team members in other locations (Poland, Austria, Slovakia, Germany, Norway).



THE CHALLENGE:
You will help develop and maintain services used by both internal users and external clients. With high traffic and demanding performance requirements, your code will need to be efficient, reliable, clean and maintainable.

Most of our daily work involves technology:

  • PHP (Symfony), Go, React, TypeScript, MySQL (Aurora), Redis (ElastiCache).
  • RabbitMQ (AmazonMQ), gRPC, REST API, GraphQL, k8s, Helm, AWS, Docker.
  • Gitlab CI/CD, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, NewRelic, SonarQube, Mend and more.
  • We follow best practices around quality, including writing tests and reviewing each other’s code.
  • Working in Scrum, we manage our tasks in Jira and keep detailed documentation in Confluence.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust backend services and APIs.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Build and deployment processes via GitLab CI/CD, run scalable services on Kubernetes.
  • Implement observability practices using tools like Grafana, Loki, and New Relic.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
  • Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders by contributing to technical documentation and providing input on implementation choices.
  • Drive continuous improvement, promote best practices in software engineering, testing, and infrastructure.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Solid backend development experience with PHP or Go (5+ years).
  • Knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns.
  • Experience in designing and working on highly scalable systems.
  • Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, NoSQL, and queue systems.
  • Familiar with GitLab CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience with containerization (k8s, Docker, AWS).
  • Understanding of system monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, New Relic).
  • Practice TDD and pair programming.
  • Experience with JavaScript and React is a plus but not required.

Additional Information

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
