The Commercial Team at Sojern is looking for a SaaS Director of Sales to accelerate customer growth for Sojern’s suite of Guest Experience Solutions products.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Sales, you will serve as a dynamic senior sales leader responsible for leading and growing our team of Guest Experience Solution Sales Managers, driving revenue, and encouraging client relationships. You will be instrumental in scaling our outbound sales efforts, increasing pitch efficiency, and developing strong relationships with internal cross-departmental resource & support teams.
What you will do:
- Oversee a growing team of SaaS Sales Managers
- Develop and implement coaching and management best practices with a team of sales professionals.
- Assist in developing strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with Sales Managers to provide hands-on coaching and development. Lead weekly team meetings and team training sessions.
- Establish and enforce best practices in lead qualification, pitch discovery questions, consultative selling, pipeline management, and sales funnel reporting.
- Drive to achieve targeted outcomes: pitches made, business won, conversion rates; intending to increase and maintain Sales Productivity.
- Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Client Success, Product Marketing, and Enablement to scale sales objectives.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on forecasting and pipeline management.
- Represent Sojern at various industry events.
What you bring to the table:
- 8+ years of sales and business development experience
- 5+ years of SaaS leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to coach, lead, and motivate others
- A strong background in the hospitality technology sector with a contact list across a variety of travel technologies including PMS, RMS, Booking Engines, POS, Ancillary and Brands
- A strong understanding of Guest Journey/Experience tools including reputation management, messaging, and guest marketing
- Knowledge of digital media and distribution strategies across display, social, META and SEM
- An analytical mind, comfortable with multiple BI platforms, including SFDC and Tableau
- Fantastic relationship management skills
- A strong presenter
- Adept stakeholder management
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
