As a Senior Social Media Manager for Rocket Pro, you will lead social strategy across multiple platforms, translating brand objectives into channel-specific content and engagement that resonates with B2B audiences. You will own community management, drive real-time engagement during major events like Ignite, and leverage social listening to identify industry opportunities. You will be a proactive, autonomous leader who brings strategic thinking and creative execution to every initiative—from content development and analytics to executive-level reporting. Your work will directly impacts how Rocket Mortgage connects with brokers, real estate agents, builders, and consumers in the digital space.
About the role
- Drive comprehensive social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms, translating brand objectives into channel-specific content and engagement
- Create and execute culturally relevant, on-trend content including short-form video, compelling captions, and case studies that highlight company execution and results
- Own community management across all platforms, including infiltrating and participating in relevant Facebook groups to build community presence and authentic relationships
- Develop and maintain a consistent content calendar that aligns organic and paid social efforts with broader marketing strategy and campaign priorities.
- Lead social strategy for major events including Ignite, managing pre-promotion strategy, live event engagement, real-time audience interaction, and post-event content development
- Monitor social listening tools to identify industry spikes, relevant conversations, and campaign performance; escalate insights and issues through proper channels
- Report on social performance metrics and KPIs to executive-level stakeholders, translating data into strategic recommendations and demonstrating clear campaign success
About you
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in social media strategy, management, or digital content leadership with demonstrated success across multiple platforms
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or a related field
- Strong B2B experience and demonstrated ability to translate between B2B and B2C audiences; understanding of how to reach brokers, real estate agents, and builders
- Experience with native social publishing and analytics tools including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and related platforms
- Working knowledge of social analytics, KPIs, and the ability to determine campaign success through data-driven insights
- Proven ability to monitor audience sentiment, industry trends, and social listening tools to inform strategy and identify opportunities
- Experience developing short-form video content and writing compelling, audience-specific captions and copy
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in mortgage, real estate, financial services, or healthcare industries; mortgage and real estate experience strongly preferred
- Experience with social media management platforms such as Sprinklr or Sprout Social
- Demonstrated success managing executive and/or brand social presence and engaging with industry leaders and media professionals
- Experience developing case studies and metrics-driven storytelling that builds long-term relationships with partners and prospects
- Ability to work across multiple time zones and demonstrate flexibility around event-based activations and live coverage
- Proven experience with community engagement strategies, including participation in industry groups and real-time event activation
