As a Master Servicing High Risk Analyst I, you will be responsible for interfacing with internal and external business partners to support identification, analysis, documentation, and processing of defaulted assets. You will assist with reviewing and recommending the servicer's course of action involving loan level issues related to trust agreement and servicing agreement obligations.
Must live within a commutable distance to the Highlands Ranch, CO office to perform in-office responsibilities as needed.
About the role
- Interface with Primary Servicers regarding verbal and written loan level requests
- Approve/deny loan-level requests, including modifications, short sales, charge offs, REO offers, litigation invoices, etc. within the parameters of the governing servicing agreement, trust agreement and loan documents
- Review and decision litigation expense reimbursement requests submitted by servicers.
- Coordinate with servicers, trustees, internal signors, and/or other parties to obtain signatures on documents
- Run and analyze monthly reports to track key performance indicators and operational metrics. Act as servicer liaison for questions or contractual obligations relating, but not limited, to modifications, short sales, charge-offs, REO offers, litigation invoices, and REMIC matters
- Obtain comprehensive, detailed status reports on default timeline exceptions as needed and update system of record
- Monitor, analyze, and document servicer management of defaulted loans
- Work within department deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks while escalating more complex issues as needed
- Establish effective professional rapport with internal and external business partners, handles complaints, and resolves conflicts with guidance from senior team members
- Gain exposure to a broader scope of work assignments with moderate complexity
