Senior Print Center Technician

As a Senior Print Center Technician, you will complete print requests, prioritize print production schedules, coordinate mail deliveries, ensure quality, and operate and maintain printing equipment.
About the role
- Prepress workflow of digital print jobs, including file manipulation, color calibration, job setup and the use of various raster image processor (RIP) software
- Print and finish digital print jobs using a variety of industry-standard equipment, tools and techniques
- Prepare finished product for pickup or delivery
- Develop concepts with business area owners for various types and mediums of digital print materials
- Consult with clients on the specific needs of a project
- Select the appropriate media and substrates to best serve any given project
- Perform basic preventative maintenance/troubleshooting on print and finishing equipment
- Maintain inventory of print materials and supplies
- Operate electric pallet jack/lift
- Train and mentor other print center technicians
- Develop and implement best-practices for digital print environment
- Move and/or lift boxes up to 50 lbs.
About you
- 3 years of experience in the print industry
- Digital Press Operator certificate
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver heavy carts
