As a Marketing Project Manager at Rocket, you will be the vital bridge connecting marketing strategy to execution. You'll manage the scope, schedule, and delivery of key marketing initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams across the enterprise. Your expertise in project management methodologies, combined with your marketing knowledge, will ensure campaigns and initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and with exceptional quality. About the role

  • Manage marketing project scope by guiding the creation and management of vision, objectives, outcomes, and high-level work breakdown for campaigns and initiatives

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive marketing project plans aligned to priority business goals and campaign timelines

  • Identify key marketing project success metrics and qualitative success criteria to measure campaign effectiveness

  • Ensure marketing project quality by keeping plans up-to-date in a rapidly changing environment while maintaining brand standards

  • Create and maintain accurate documentation related to all phases of the marketing project management life cycle

  • Define communication strategies and advise stakeholders on execution progress for marketing initiatives and campaigns

  • Identify, document and engage the right roles across marketing, creative, and business teams for successful delivery of work within scope

About you

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, information technology or equivalent work experience

  • 2 years of project management experience, preferably in marketing or advertising

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization

  • Demonstrated ability to handle aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously

  • Experience with planning, organizing and establishing priorities to achieve measurable results

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent project scheduling tools

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to assess problems and solve them with a strong sense of urgency while thinking strategically about marketing objectives

  • Experience breaking down complex marketing strategies into actionable project plans

  • Project Management Professional certification or equivalent

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and/or marketing campaign development life cycles
