As the Divisional Vice President of Workforce Planning, you’ll play an integral role within the Center of Excellence. You’ll oversee your direct report leaders and overall business area in their day-to-day operations. You’ll work closely with senior leadership from other business areas to implement business and process changes. You’ll work to strategize and delegate initiatives to proper teams to create a cohesive and efficient workflow.
About the Role
- Ensures proper oversight of the Center of Excellence engagement portfolio and business operations
- Communicates the Center of Excellence vision, strategic direction, objectives and goals, including the overall planning, management, execution and direction of the program(s) they are responsible for
- Stays connected on the different initiatives happening company-wide and provides key information to executives when needed
- Partner with leadership to determine actions needed during meetings and communicate next steps to the appropriate parties
- Work with various teams across the company to ensure executive leadership’s vision is being executed and that teams are working strategically together
- Lead, guide and evaluate the work of the teams(s) while driving business results and minimizing costs
- Identify gaps in the teams’ work and determine strategy to fill them
- Maintain leadership training and the most-up-to-date industry knowledge
- Attend partner events, conferences, and meet and greets to consistently grow and enhance business relationships
- Proactively manage the staffing and training of each team to meet the needs of partners and business initiatives
- Utilize data and metrics to compare performance across teams and help make decisions to ensure partner success
- Support individual skills development to reach career aspirations or course correct as needed.
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- 7-10 years of relevant mortgage experience and/or working on or managing projects
- 7-10 years of leadership experience
- Experience with planning, organizing, and establishing priorities to achieve results
- Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships with different partners
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Demonstrated ability to handle aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Tactful diplomat, problem solver, thinker and analyzer
- Ability to sell concepts and ideas
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities on short deadlines
- Strong analytical skills, including understanding how to set and manage performance metrics
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in business or engineering (e.g. MBA, industrial engineering)
- Experience and fluency with managing operational environments and process improvement initiatives with measurable results
- Demonstrated ability building an innovative culture of continuous improvement and business transformation
- Expertise partnering with team members across all levels and leading collaborative groups to achieve common goals
- Strong analytical and project management skills, including the ability to interpret business needs, translate them into operational requirements and key performance indicators, and drive standardization and improvement toward those requirements
