As a Business Development Manager with Rocket Mortgage Canada, you’ll work to maintain ongoing relationships with a select group of partners and sales accounts while representing the Rocket Mortgage Canada name and brand.

About the Role

  • Serve as a liaison between the company and clients to provide strong client service
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve client file issues
  • Own the client relationship for potential new deal opportunities, serving as first point of contact on guideline inquiries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions.
  • Monitor state of the industry to keep up to date with industry trends
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor activities. Organize, plan and prepare to present materials for current clients
  • Inform clients of pricing updates, new products and special offers
  • Implement process improvement measures to support growth
  • Partner with a wide array of internal teams to create consistency and alignment
  • Ensure open lines of availability to all clients through various means of communication
  • Use analytics tools including data visualization and Customer Relationship Management tools to better understand information/data for a select group of accounts
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies.

About You

  • 2 years’ experience in a business development, sales, relationship management or similar role
  • 2 years’ experience in the mortgage services industry
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Keen analytical ability demonstrated by the ability to analyze and respond to needs and to measure outcomes
  • Excellent time management, project management, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for client service
  • 1 year of experience in mortgage sales or real estate preferred

British Columbia & Prince Edward Island Candidates Only. The pay range for this position is ninety thousand dollars per year. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental and vision benefits and paid-time off.
