Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
- Expertise developing for a cloud environment or advanced cloud provider certification
- Experience designing or refining continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
- Experience developing software modules or patterns used across multiple teams
- Expertise designing integration tests, leading software releases, and providing ongoing support
Preferred Qualifications
- You have 5+ years of professional experience working with some combination of Node/TypeScript, React, GraphQL and Postgres (or similar relational database)
- Experience with Brower Automation tools, such as Puppeteer and or Playwright
- You thrive in a growing organization and are not afraid of a challenging problem. In fact, you confront problems head on and take the lead on the solution
- You understand observability and enjoy digging into the details to solve performance and user experience issues
Job Summary
As a Senior Software Developer II, you'll be an expert developer who has demonstrated an ability to innovate and support the team and beyond. You'll support and guide the team's consistent delivery of iterative value to your clients. Recognized for your expertise, you'll mentor your team, helping develop their overall capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Make key decisions for the future of our systems that balance technical concerns with business concerns
- Work closely with the Operations team to optimize their workflows and build tools that improve our operational efficiency while maintaining an excellent user experience
- Develop with TypeScript across the stack, building user interfaces using React and building back-ends in Node & GraphQL
- Leverage AI to make our systems faster, smarter, more reliable, and more straightforward for our users
- Use Browser Automation tools (e.g. Puppeteer and Playwright) to improve end user experience
