About the role

Our Technology team builds the systems and experiences that keep Revolut moving forward. From the infrastructure behind our innovative app to the features used by millions of people around the world, they bring sharp thinking, speed, and a focus on meaningful impact to everything they do.

We're looking for a Technology Continuity and Resilience Manager to oversee and enhance our ability to withstand and recover from disruptions, ensuring continuity of critical operations and services.

You'll collaborate with service owners, Compliance, Risk, and service delivery teams to ensure proper documentation and reporting deliverables related to operational resilience.

What you'll be doing

  • Challenging ICT disaster recovery plans (coverage, success criteria, alignment with regulations, test results)
  • Developing and implementing operational resilience frameworks, policies, and strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across all business functions
  • Collaborating with functional teams to conduct risk assessments, business impact analysis, and scenario planning to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to critical business functions
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive business continuity and exit plans, ensuring alignment with EU regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of existing resilience plans and processes, making recommendations for improvements
  • Designing and conducting testing, training, and simulation exercises to validate the effectiveness of continuity plans and enhance organisational readiness
  • Monitoring and updating business continuity plans regularly, incorporating lessons learned from incidents and industry developments
  • Providing regular reports to senior management on the status of business continuity initiatives and recommended improvements
  • Continuously monitoring emerging risks and industry trends, adapting resilience strategies to evolving threats and business needs

What you'll need

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or information systems
  • 4+ years of experience in operational resilience within the financial/insurance industry
  • An understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to operational resilience and continuity planning in a bank/insurance environment
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies used for risk assessment, resilience, and continuity planning

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of building SQL queries for business intelligence/management information
