About the role

The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term.

We're looking for a Legal Counsel to lead the legal strategy for our global physical footprint, including ATMs and airport activations.

You’ll help shape our expansion strategy, navigate complex real estate and infrastructure requirements, and work alongside both the core Legal team and a high-performing team of specialists to deliver the best outcome for Revolut’s customers.

Up to shape what's next in finance? Let's get in touch.

What you'll be doing

  • Drafting and negotiating complex, high-value real estate agreements as well as commercial agreements with global airport authorities and hardware manufacturers
  • Providing time-sensitive commercial, operational, and regulatory advice to internal stakeholders, enabling the business to navigate tricky global regulations, such as payment services
  • Serving as a strategic partner to the Physical Presence GM, influencing product roadmaps and market entry strategies
  • Serving as the senior legal point of escalation for complex disputes or regulatory hurdles related to our physical presence
  • Refining and scaling a global playbook for physical presence deals to enable rapid, compliant expansion into new territories
  • Optimising the deployment journey by developing streamlined, scalable contract frameworks for site hosts and vendors

What you'll need

  • 5+ years of PQE
  • Excellent academic credentials and a proven track record at a top-tier real estate/financial regulatory law firm
  • Technical expertise in global commercial leasing, hardware procurement, and the mechanics of physical distribution networks
  • Experience managing complex, cross-border projects involving multi-jurisdictional licensing and local regulatory requirements
  • A track record of leading large-scale projects from inception to completion, managing both internal stakeholders and external counsel with short turnaround times
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, project management, and communication skills, including the ability to distil complex legal and regulatory concepts into actionable commercial advice for executives

Nice to have

  • Experience working in-house
  • Experience in airport concession leasing
  • Experience in financial regulatory services (e.g., ATMs and cash-in-transit)
