About the role

Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business operates safely. They’re among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support.

We’re looking for a Risk Manager who'll support growing our retail credit portfolio. You'll make data-driven decisions on risk-adjusted return requirements and lead preventive and reactive actions that impact portfolio credit performance and profitability.

Up to shape what's next in finance? Let’s get in touch.

What you'll be doing

  • Building and managing Revolut's retail credit risk framework from the ground up to support features in Singapore
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining key credit risk policies, procedures, and controls to ensure full compliance with all Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations
  • Working closely with the global Risk Modelling team to design, develop, and implement robust retail credit risk models (PD/ECL)
  • Defining and managing the retail credit risk appetite through limit calibration, monitoring, and stress testing
  • Engaging with first-line businesses to identify, monitor, and govern emerging retail credit risks, including conducting new product risk assessments
  • Assessing emerging risks and providing credit risk expertise for potential new product lines, including SME lending
  • Acting as the key point of contact for engaging with stakeholders, committees, and regional regulators (MAS) on matters related to retail credit risk exposures and governance
  • Quantifying risk exposures, considering stakeholder impact, and protecting the company from excessive risk-taking
  • Building trust and a solid reputation with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies in Singapore

What you'll need

  • 6+ years of hands-on retail credit risk experience (not including wholesale/treasury experience)
  • A solid, demonstrable understanding of Singapore's retail credit regulatory landscape, including MAS Notice 635, the Banking (Credit Card and Charge Card) Regulations, and unsecured borrowing limits
  • Deep knowledge of key retail credit products, with an emphasis on credit cards and unsecured personal loans
  • Proven experience with retail credit risk modelling concepts (PD/ECL) and their practical application
  • A track record of building and implementing risk frameworks in a fast-paced environment, ideally for a new product or market launch
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • The ability to work independently in a dynamic, high-performance environment

Nice to have

  • Experience in SME/business lending credit risk
