About the role

Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business operates safely. They’re among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support.

We’re looking for a Head of Capital Risk to identify, quantify, and manage Revolut’s capital risk. You’ll operate as a second line of defence, ensuring that risks and controls are properly managed by first-line functions.

What you’ll be doing

• Driving the Group's risk management framework for capital risk
• Leading the 2LoD's contributions to the Group ICAAP, ensuring consistency throughout local entity ICAAPs
• Developing and maintaining risk management policies, procedures, limits, stress testing capabilities, analytics, system support, and reporting infrastructure
• Engaging and challenging first-line businesses to identify, monitor, and govern emerging capital risks, including new product risk assessments
• Supporting the development of financial models used to measure capital risk and for capital planning
• Proposing capital allocation limits and managing the approval process
• Leading senior stakeholder management and regulatory engagement on capital risk matters

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in capital risk management, prudential regulations, or consulting in financial services
• Expertise in capital risk regulations, issues, and methodologies
• An understanding of global financial markets, products, and key capital risk drivers
• Expertise in various stress testing methodologies, model development, implementation, and governance
• Solid leadership skills
• Experience engaging with regulators
