The Rev-celerator Internship programme is designed for top students seeking to make the most of their summer by working alongside industry professionals, taking on real-world challenges, and honing their skills. You may expect for ours Application Security Engineer to keep our software safe from threats and vulnerabilities. You'll be designing and building apps with security in mind while testing, monitoring, and protecting our systems along the way.

What you'll be doing

• Running security scans
• Checking for common OWASP issues
• Reviewing system configurations with guidance and checklists
• Running SAST and DAST scans to identify vulnerabilities
• Documenting findings from security tests
• Flagging security issues to senior engineers and developers
• Researching emerging security threats
• Contributing to internal documentation and knowledge bases
• Participating in security training sessions

What you'll need

• On track to achieve a 2:1 or higher in your degree, or an equivalent academic standing internationally
• A portfolio of multiple coding side projects or open source contributions
• Penultimate year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (computer science, mathematics, or physics)
• Expected graduation in 2027
• A proactive mindset
• Passion for problem-solving
• Fluency in English
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges
• A results-driven mindset with ambition to grow
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Comfort working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Full availability for the programme (summer 2026)
