We're building from scratch a world-class Finance & Strategy team to steer the company's boat through the next phase of growth.

You'll be the financial brain of the company, driving the business to increased profitability and capital efficiency, identifying and measuring growth, focusing on regulatory risk management and acting as a strategic partner to key product and regional Heads of Departments.

What you'll be doing

• Improving the completeness of the entity's general ledger to 100%
• Implementing strong financial control processes
• Scaling the finance strategy and team from the ground up
• Establishing processes and procedures to support scalability
• Building and leading the Finance team in Argentina across strategy, control, reporting, and regulatory management
• Hiring the local finance team
• Leading strategic and financial planning processes
• Assisting in decision-making on resource allocation and prioritisation
• Building and owning financial forecast models and in-depth ad-hoc analyses
• Driving growth and profitability initiatives such as pricing, margin improvements, and new product evaluation
• Assessing expansion opportunities, including acquisitions, large deals, and new markets

What you'll need

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance, including financial analysis and control functions
• Experience in the financial services or banking industry
• Experience building and scaling teams within a fast-growing organisation
• Understanding of external reporting requirements and internal financial reporting frameworks
• Experience driving financial strategy to increase profitability or return on equity
• Understanding of treasury, capital, and liquidity requirements in bank operations
• Proficiency in automation using advanced programming languages such as VBA, SQL, or Python
• A track record of delivering results in a cross-functional, high-growth, and fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Argentine and international tax regulations

Nice to have

• A chartered accountancy qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, or similar
• A CFA or MBA degree
• Experience creating teams or processes from scratch
• Experience working with equity-related matters
• A STEM education background
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python
• Financial services audit experience
• Post-qualified experience in a Legal Entity or Group Controller role
• Commercial understanding of markets and investment banking
• Knowledge of tax and controlling functions
