About the role

Compliance is a key team that ensures Revolut’s products and processes meet the regulatory requirements and translate this into the best customer outcomes.

They’ve got an outstanding ability to find solutions and carry out testing in a purely digital environment. Those data-driven experts know that better people and machines are the most effective way of managing conduct risk.

We’re looking for a Business Compliance Manager who’ll be responsible for advising our Talent department on compliance requirements, related controls, and existing infrastructure with a focus on Senior Management and Certification Regime (SM&CR) and Fitness and Property (F&P) Process.

What you’ll be doing

• Advising the business on compliance topics related to SM&CR and F&P, and improving the existing infrastructure
• Ensuring Revolut meets regulatory requirements specific to SM&CR and F&P
• Providing solutions to compliance problem statements
• Acting as an effective stakeholder between 1LoD and 2LoD Compliance teams
• Leveraging Revolut’s suite of data analytics, advising business areas to ensure positive outcomes and where changes may be required
• Liaising regularly with senior stakeholders (including board-level) in preparing and presenting periodic reports
• Reading regulations and understanding their implications for the business model
• Identifying regulatory issues proactively and recommending remedies to promote compliance
• Being part of a committee to review and approve the People team's initiatives from a compliance oversight perspective

What you'll need

• Experience in regulatory compliance frameworks related to the FCA, PRA, or equivalent regulators (extensive experience in SM&CR)
• A solid understanding of fitness and propriety regulations, with hands-on experience in conducting F&P checks for Senior Management Functions (SMFs), Material Risk Takers (MRTs), and other key personnel
• Knowledge of UK regulations related to SM&CR
• Experience in a top-tier financial institution or consultancy
• The ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects at once, and meet tight deadlines
• A willingness to take on new challenges
