About the role

Our Risk team sits at the very core of Revolut. Those special agents work across functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure that the business is on safe footing. People in the Risk team are among the first in the company to get involved in new business initiatives, from App Technology, through Treasury and Finance, to Customer Support 💫

We’re looking for a Risk Manager to continue improving our risk management framework and governance structures. A great data lover to monitor daily risk exposures and support MI reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Someone who’ll dare to challenge our operational processes and take them to the next level 🏋🏼‍♂️

What you’ll be doing

• Working with the first line of defence to identify, assess, document, and regularly review risks of all types and coach the business to design and implement controls
• Assisting with developing and implementing operational risk policies, risk procedures, key risk indicators, and risk appetite statement
• Developing techniques for quantification of operational risk and resilience including stress testing and impact tolerances
• Taking ownership of the risk incident management process ensuring recording of risk events and managing and delivering risk incident reports
• Monitoring operational risk against limits and thresholds, producing respective reports to management and other relevant stakeholders
• Constantly developing and maintaining risk tools and systems
• Monitoring KRI breaches and working with risk owners/group risk team to resolve them within a set timeline
• Conducting presentations and workshops in risk identification and mitigation

What you'll need

• 2+ years of experience in Operational Risk Management in Banking or Financial services consultancy
• An understanding of core operational risk concepts
• Previous examples of practically interpreting and organizing complexity
• To be curious and never accept assumptions, with a desire to fully understand how things work
• An organised and methodological approach

Nice to have

• Experience with Operational Risk stress testing and quantification
