We've been officially certified as a Great Place to Work™ in recognition of our outstanding employee experience! So far, we have 10,000+ people working around the world, from our great offices or remotely, on our mission. And we're looking for more. We want brilliant people that love building great products, love redefining success, and love turning the complexity of a chaotic world into the simplicity of a beautiful solution.

About the role

Our Risk team sits at the very core of Revolut. Those special agents work across functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure that the business is on safe footing. People in the Risk team are among the first in the company to get involved in new business initiatives, from App Technology, through Treasury and Finance, to Customer Support 💫

Our focus lies on models built in dedicated programming environments, such as Python, and potentially complex calculation tools built in End-User Computing (“EUC”) environments. These models and tools can have significant implications for business decision-making, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

We're looking for an End-User Computing Risk Manager who thrives on analysing data and applying both quantitative and qualitative techniques. This role is perfect for those who excel in areas such as long-term forecasting, fraud detection, and credit risk assessment, and who are eager to employ their skills in evaluating and enhancing model and End-User Computing (EUC) tools.

We need a dynamic individual who isn't just content with existing processes but is driven to elevate them and challenge the status quo. This is your chance to be at the leading edge of model risk management, focusing particularly on the intricacies of EUC environments.

Up for jumping on board? Let’s get in touch 🚀

What you’ll be doing

  • Focusing on End-User Computing (EUC) tools, identifying and implementing improvements in calculation methodologies and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Evaluating current EUC environments for risk, compliance, and performance optimisation opportunities
  • Collaborating with developers and model users to recommend enhancements that align with our model and EUC risk appetite, aiming to minimise adverse outcomes and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Establishing and reinforcing robust model and EUC risk management practices across the entire lifecycle, from development to deployment and monitoring
  • Actively engaging with senior management to elevate their understanding of model-related risks, assumptions, limitations, and outputs
  • Utilising multi-channel distribution tools to provide clear, concise, and impactful communications on model risk insights and recommendations

What you'll need

  • 3+ years of experience in reviewing, developing, or managing EUC tools related to Market Risk, Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, Capital Risk, Finance & Treasury, Financial Crime, or Data Science models
  • Experience enhancing calculation methodologies, risk assessments, and compliance measures within EUC environments
  • Confidence to work autonomously and effectively engage with individuals at all levels of the organization, demonstrating leadership in model risk discussions and initiatives
  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, and Excel/Google Sheets/VBA
  • The ability to work well under pressure and communicate complex model-related information effectively with key stakeholders, translating technical details into actionable insights for decision-making

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with model risk management legislation and regulations in the UK, USA, and EU, and an understanding of how these regulations impact EUC practices and model risk management strategies

Compensation range

  • Vilnius: €4,800 - €5,000 gross monthly*
  • Lithuania: €4,800 - €5,000 gross monthly*
  • Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
