Why would you love this job?

We’re looking for a video production & editing summer intern to join our Brand team. This is a hands-on opportunity for a student interested in video production, editing, and storytelling to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, global tech company.

You’ll work closely with our Video Lead on a range of projects—from editing short-form content to supporting live shoots and event capture. This role is ideal for someone who is excited to learn, highly organized, and interested in both the creative and technical sides of video production. This role is designed to support increased video production needs over the summer, particularly around campaign execution, event coverage, and content creation.

What You’ll Do

Post-production support (primary focus)

  • Assist with first-pass edits using provided footage and clear direction
  • Pull selects from interviews and b-roll
  • Create cutdowns and format variations (e.g., social versions, aspect ratios)
  • Work within templates for campaign, product, and social video content
  • Add captions, basic graphics, and versioning
  • Organize media, prep project files, and maintain clean workflows (Frame.io / Drive)
  • Export, quality check, and manage final files

Production support (as needed)

  • Assist on local shoots with setup (lighting, tripods, staging)
  • Support audio monitoring and basic technical checks
  • Help manage gear, batteries, and media
  • Take notes during shoots and assist with production logistics
  • Support post-shoot breakdown and media offload

Team collaboration

  • Work with the Brand team across campaigns, events, and product launches
  • Gain exposure to end-to-end video workflows—from concept to final delivery
  • Assist with general video team operations and special projects as needed

What will you need to have?

  • Currently pursuing a degree in film, video production, media, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to follow direction and work from references and templates
  • Interest in video storytelling, editing, and production workflows
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • Availability to support occasional in-person shoots in the Bay Area

Extra Great If You Have

  • Basic After Effects knowledge
  • Experience with social video formats (Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc)
  • A portfolio or sample work demonstrating editing fundamentals
