Do you enjoy building tools for engineers? In this role, you’ll help shape the next generation of developer tooling around Redis, helping engineers understand, debug, and operate Redis in production environments.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a product-minded engineer who enjoys owning problems end-to-end. Our ideal candidate is comfortable working across the stack, leading initiatives, and thinking beyond implementation toward impact on users and the product.

We also believe strongly in modern engineering workflows and actively leverage AI-assisted and agentic development tools to accelerate development and improve engineering productivity.

What you will do

• Own initiatives from idea to production, including design, implementation, testing, release, and iteration
• Develop and evolve features across our developer tooling ecosystem, including RedisInsight
• Think like a product owner - proactively identifying opportunities to improve the product and developer experience
• Work closely with product managers and designers to shape ideas
• Lead technical initiatives and drive them to completion while aligning the team around clear solutions
• Own the full software development lifecycle, from architecture decisions through implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Leverage modern AI-assisted and agentic engineering tools to accelerate development and improve engineering workflows

What will you need to have

• 6+ years of experience building and shipping production software
• Strong coding skills with experience across frontend and backend development
• Experience with modern web technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Ability to design and implement scalable software with clear abstractions and maintainable architecture
• A product mindset and curiosity about how features create real user value
• Experience leading initiatives and driving projects to completion
• Comfort taking ownership of the entire SDLC, including design, implementation, testing, and delivery
• Interest in modern AI-assisted development workflows, and willingness to actively leverage agentic tools to improve productivity
