Who We Are

We’re Redis. We built the product that powers the fast apps our world runs on. If you checked the weather, paid with your credit card, or tracked your flight today — Redis was probably behind it.

At Redis, you’ll work with the fastest, simplest technology in the business — whether you’re building it, telling its story, or helping customers around the globe use it. We’re creating a faster world with simpler experiences. Want to be part of it?

Why You’ll Love This Role

We’re seeking a Legal Counsel, Commercial to join our dynamic and globally distributed Legal team. This role will focus on supporting Redis’ Sales teams across UK, EMEA, and APAC, and procurement globally.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with enterprise SaaS, software licensing, and international commercial agreements, while working closely with experienced in-house lawyers and business stakeholders. You’ll receive hands-on mentorship from experienced team members while having the independence to manage your own workstreams. At Redis, we’re bringing AI into how we work. You’ll also help shape how AI transforms the legal function at scale.

You’ll report to the AGC, Global Head of Commercial Legal and collaborate with colleagues worldwide.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive and support contract drafting and negotiation for a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS, software licenses, NDAs, data processing agreements, and supplier/vendor contracts.
  • Assist Senior counsel and independently lead complex cross-border transactions, helping navigate international regulatory frameworks.
  • Partner with internal teams, including Sales, Procurement, Finance, Deal Desk, and Security, to help structure and close deals efficiently.
  • Contribute to process improvements and help implement AI and automation tools to streamline contract workflows and increase efficiency.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining contract templates and playbooks.
  • Gain exposure to broader legal areas within Redis.

What You’ll Need

  • Legal qualification to practice in England & Wales (solicitor) or equivalent international qualification with the right to work in the UK.
  • 1–3 years in commercial, SaaS, or technology transactions (law firm or in-house).
  • Exposure to SaaS and software licensing.
  • Familiarity with data laws (GDPR, UK GDPR, EU Data Act, AI Act).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Interest in leveraging AI-driven tools for contract review and legal operations.
  • Strong team player with curiosity, initiative, and a proactive mindset.

Extra Great If You Have

  • In-house experience in a high-growth tech company.
  • Experience supporting multi-jurisdictional commercial work (EMEA/APAC).
  • Additional language skills (French, German, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese a plus!).
  • Common sense, great judgment, and a good sense of humor or collaborative spirit!
