We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Engineering Manager to lead our growing team of Salesforce developers and administrators. This is a player-coach role, offering the unique opportunity to combine technical leadership with hands-on Salesforce design and development work.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing, mentoring, and scaling a team of talented engineers while continuing to stay deeply involved in the technical aspects of the Salesforce platform. You’ll play a critical role in defining and driving the technical vision, ensuring best practices, and delivering scalable solutions that align with our business objectives.

Job Requirements

  1. Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
  2. Manage and optimize Salesforce environments, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional and technical designs.
  4. Develop customized applications, including Apex classes, triggers, Lightning components, Visualforce pages, and API integrations.
  5. Lead the development and testing phases of new Salesforce functionalities and enhancements.
  6. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues and performance optimization.
  7. Ensure best practices in Salesforce development, including code quality, version control, and CI/CD processes.
  8. Develop and maintain technical documentation related to customizations, configurations, and integrations.
  9. Participate in cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with other business applications.
  10. Mentor and provide technical guidance to developers and administrators on the team.

Qualifications

  1. BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  2. Around 7-8 years of experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  3. Proven track record of successful execution of the full product/service development lifecycle from initial planning to first release, and delivering on schedule.
  4. Salesforce Admin ,Platform Developer and Technical Architect certifications would be desirable
  5. Extensive software development experience doing server-side (RESTful services) development.
  6. Good knowledge and experience with Java and Spring Frameworks, databases and SQL.
  7. Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design/programming.
  8. Experience with cloud-based service development, particularly using Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure is a plus.
  9. Proven experience with Salesforce platform customization, data model design, and integration techniques.
  10. Strong understanding of CRM and sales processes, with the ability to implement them within Salesforce.
  11. Previous experience working with a consumption based organization would be desirable
  12. Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware integrations with Salesforce.
  13. Proficiency in Salesforce tools like Process Builder, Flow, and Lightning App Builder.
  14. Knowledge of best practices in code management, including version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  15. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalability, performance, and user experience.
  16. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
