We're Redis. We built the product that runs the fast apps our world runs on. (If you checked the weather, used your credit card, or looked at your flight status online today, you’re welcome.) At Redis, you’ll work with the fastest, simplest technology in the business—whether you’re building it, telling its story, or selling it to our 10,000+ worldwide customers. We’re creating a faster world with simpler experiences. You in?

We are seeking a Principal Security Product Manager to join our global product management team.

As a Principal Security Product Manager, you will be an integral part of the growing team that drives the next-generation database platform’s security and compliance requirements.

The successful candidate will balance initiative and self-motivation with an ability to work with geographically and culturally diverse teams, internal to Redis, as well as partner and customer teams. You enjoy listening to partners and customers and can successfully navigate business-oriented and engineering organizations to achieve your goals.

If you know what it takes to build an enterprise-grade, secure, and distributed service this is the right challenge for you.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders: R&D, Education, Marketing, and Solution Architect teams, to ensure timely delivery of products to the market
  • Evangelize the security and privacy capabilities of Redis and the Redis portfolio in the press, with analysts, at industry events, and across multiple verticals such as financial, government, and healthcare industries
  • Work with our corporate compliance and auditing organization to drive standard compliance across products and organization, and oversee its implementation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager in SaaS / B2B / Enterprise software industry
  • Deep understanding of privacy and security compliance standards such as PCI, HIPAA, FISMA, Privacy Shield, SOC 2, etc.
  • Good understanding of standards auditing and certification processes
  • 3+ years of experience leading the development of compliance and security-related capabilities for enterprise grade products
  • Knowledge in cloud computing and SaaS

Advantages

  • Previous experience with distributed systems
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (extra points for Redis experience)
  • Previous experience working on products for developers and operators
  • Can navigate cloud-native technology—public cloud providers, containers, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry
