The Role
As a Sales analytics & strategy lead for Domestic Payments, you will report directly to the Domestic payments Category Head / P&L owner. This is not a traditional "coordinator" role; we need a high-ownership individual who can bridge the gap between high-level sales strategy and granular data execution. You will manage end-to-end delivery of complex, iterative projects that involve multiple internal teams and high-stakes business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Ownership: Perform requirements gathering, analysis, and management of projects designed to achieve specific Domestic Payments business objectives.
- Data-Driven Execution: Conduct deep-dive data analytics independently to inform project direction, track performance, and identify bottlenecks—you must be comfortable pulling and analyzing your own data.
- Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong working relationships across Razorpay (BA, Support & Ops, Sales, Banking, etc.) to ensure cross-functional alignment and project success.
- Iterative Planning: Develop flexible project plans and review schedules that allow for rapid iteration based on market feedback and data insights.
- Strategic Reporting: Monitor and report key metrics regarding project progress to leadership, ensuring tactical goals align with the broader domestic payments strategy.
+1 - Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure scalability and knowledge sharing within the category.
Key Competencies & Requirements
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in program/project management, ideally within a fast-paced fintech or tech environment.
- Analytical Rigor: Strong ability to perform complex data analytics independently (SQL/Advanced Excel); you should be able to derive insights without relying solely on a separate BA team.
- AI native : Comfort with AI tools and be the evangelist of automating end to end workflows using an AI first approach
- Maturity & Navigation: Proven ability to work in an ambiguous, unstructured environment and manage diverse stakeholders with varying priorities.
- Operational Excellence: Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.
- Business acumen: A deep understanding of the payments landscape and the ability to make decisions that drive commercial outcomes.
