Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate CRM Developer / Technical Expert (2–5 years) with strong hands-on experience in CRM platform development (e.g., Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud, Dynamics 365, etc.), modern front-end technologies (e.g., Lightning Web Components, Reactjs, Angular), and system integrations.

You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and business users to design, develop, and deploy scalable CRM solutions, enabling Razorpay’s internal teams to deliver faster, smarter, and more efficient outcomes.

This role sits at the intersection of CRM engineering and business process innovation — shaping Razorpay’s next-generation Sales and Service Enablement ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

CRM Platform Development & Customization

  • Design, develop, and maintain CRM applications using platform-specific languages (e.g., Apex, C#/.NET ,server-side JavaScript), UI frameworks (e.g., LWC/Aura, custom components), scripting, and automation tools (e.g., Flows, Power Automate)
  • Build custom components, business logic (triggers, workflows), and configurations aligned to complex business processes across Sales, Service, and related modules.
  • Translate user stories and functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Follow platform-specific and general software development best practices for scalable, secure, and maintainable code.

Integrations & Data Connectivity

  • Implement integrations with internal systems, data platforms, and third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, middleware tools (e.g., Mulesoft, Dell Boomi), or event-driven architecture.
  • Collaborate with data and engineering teams to enable real-time data flows and maintain system reliability.
  • Optimize API usage, platform limits (governor/API calls), and query performance to ensure seamless, low-latency execution.

Automation & Intelligent Workflows

  • Develop business process automations and scripting that reduce manual effort and improve business efficiency.
  • Experiment with AI-driven or prompt-based automations using platform-native AI (e.g., Einstein, Copilot) or custom ML capabilities (preferred exposure).
  • Partner with product managers to embed intelligent insights and recommendations into Sales and Service workflows.

Debugging, Testing & Optimization

  • Perform code reviews, debugging, and platform diagnostics to ensure reliability and quality.
  • Optimize custom code, data queries (e.g., Python Scripts,SQL,SOQL), and component performance for large data volumes.
  • Contribute to CI/CD, sandbox/environment governance, and release management processes.

Platform Administration & Collaboration

  • Support user requests, permission management, and platform configurations.
  • Work with admins and product teams to ensure high adoption and platform hygiene.
  • Document technical implementations, contribute to best practices, and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Developer or Technical Expert on a major CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365), primarily focused on Sales and Service use cases.
  • Strong knowledge of platform-specific development languages, UI frameworks (e.g., LWC, custom portals), data query languages (e.g., SOQL, FetchXML), validation logics, and automation tools (e.g., Flows, Power Automate).
  • Experience in CRM system integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or event-driven architecture).
  • Familiarity with CRM data modeling, security design (roles, permissions), and environment management.
  • Proficiency in debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization.
  • Understanding of CRM admin fundamentals — user setup, security models, and environment management.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to collaborate across product and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in a major CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I / II, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer or equivalent).
  • Exposure to multi-cloud/module environments (e.g., Sales, Service, Marketing, ERP).
  • Knowledge of CRM DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps, Git).
  • Familiarity with AI capabilities such as platform-native AI or custom machine learning integrations (preferred).
  • Prior experience in Fintech / BFSI / SaaS organizations managing large-scale CRM use cases.
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum development cycles.
