Join Qonto as Head of Marketing - Central Europe to strengthen our brand as the trusted business banking & finance management platform across all our customer segments in Germany, Austria & the Netherlands.
As the right hand to the Central Europe Regional Director, you will lead and orchestrate marketing initiatives across the region, managing a double-digit million budget to drive our ambitious growth plans.
Key responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the marketing strategy for Central Europe, transforming high-level business objectives into actionable marketing plans while working closely with the Regional Director to crack these strategic markets.
• Team Development: Lead and grow a diverse marketing team (Marketing 360°, PR, Social Media, Events/Community) while effectively collaborating with central teams to leverage their expertise in areas like Product Marketing, CRM, and Website.
• Budget Ownership: Plan, forecast, and optimize significant marketing investments across channels to drive maximum impact and ROI in our Central European markets.
• Cross-functional Influence: Orchestrate complex stakeholder relationships across departments, driving alignment between marketing initiatives and broader business goals while speaking the language of different marketing specialties.
• Market Positioning: Build and execute bold strategies to position Qonto as the top-of-mind business banking & finance management platform for SMEs, startups & freelancers, and chartered accountants in the Central European market.
Requirements:
• Strategic Marketing Leadership: Proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies in B2B environments, yet akin to B2C methodologies, with experience in regulated industries being a strong plus.
• Team Management: Experience leading and developing multi-disciplinary marketing teams, with demonstrated ability to influence beyond direct reporting lines.
• Market Understanding: Deep knowledge of the Central European market, with German language proficiency and understanding of the local business landscape.
• Business Acumen: Strong commercial mindset with experience managing significant budgets and driving measurable business results through marketing initiatives.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to navigate complex organizational structures and align diverse stakeholders around common goals, with excellent communication skills in both German and English.
