Mission:
Join us as Head of Marketing Italy at Qonto, where you will orchestrate our comprehensive marketing efforts to solidify our position as the leader in fintech solutions in Italy. Your strategic vision will drive our growth and directly influence our market penetration, brand reputation, user acquisition and engagement in our second-largest market.
In this pivotal and leadership role, you will ensure that our local marketing initiatives are seamlessly integrated with our sales and partnerships teams in Italy, as well as with our central brand and acquisition teams. You will manage a team of about 10 marketing experts/team managers, each specializing in areas such as brand and communication, acquisition, content, social media and event management.
👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As a Head of Marketing at Qonto, you will:
Accompany Mariano, our Managing Director Italy, developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy, aligning with our broader business objectives, by building a strong brand and supporting Go-to-market activities to drive commercial growth.
Collaborate with central brand and acquisition teams to ensure consistency in messaging and to leverage cross-market insights and ensure market relevance and growth.
Coordinate new local initiatives such as new partnership launches Go-to-market plans, collaborating closely with the sales and partnerships teams to ensure marketing strategies effectively support sales objectives and strengthen team collaboration, and you will support our Product Marketing Manager Italy with the Product launches into the Italian market.
Own local projects such as brand activation activities, and Qonto events such as PowerUp and StrongHer.
Manage and mentor a diverse team (5 direct reports, of whom team managers, including PR & comms, Content, Social Media, Events & Ecosystem), cultivating a culture of creativity, collaboration and a data-driven mindset.
Utilize data-driven insights to drive decisions and measure the effectiveness of marketing actions.
Represent Qonto’s marketing interests at industry events and in press interactions, enhancing our company awareness.

🏅 About You:
Experience: You have a proven track record of at least 8 years leading marketing teams and crafting strategies that drive brand growth and customer acquisition and engagement.
Leadership: You are an experienced manager who excels at developing talent and leading cross-functional teams.
Cross-functional Coordination: You possess strong coordination skills, with experience working alongside sales and partnerships teams, as well as aligning with central marketing units.
Industry Knowledge: You have worked in fast-paced, tech-focused environments, ideally scaleups (in fintech or related sectors is a plus).
Communication: You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company at all levels.
Language Skills: You are fluent in English and Italian. French is a plus.
