⭐ Mission Join us as an Analytics Engineer and help us deliver high-quality data models that power strategic business decisions for our 600,000+ customers. You will be part of a team of eight Analytics Engineers building trustworthy datasets that support Qonto's growth from a market leader to the financial platform used by 500,000 SMEs in 2025.
As an Analytics Engineer for Business Analytics topics, you will work closely with Alice Fresko, our Lead Analytics Engineer, to scale our data modeling capabilities and reduce technical debt while ensuring our data models meet the growing demands of our Business Analytics teams.
👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As an Analytics Engineer at Qonto, you will:
• Deliver high-quality data models for the Business Analytics team, ensuring they are trustworthy, discoverable, and actively used
• Provide consulting and best practices guidance to data analysts, helping them understand data modeling needs and business requirements
• Work on scaling and reducing technical debt within data models, improving the quality and scalability of our data infrastructure
• Collaborate daily with data analysts and participate in weekly team meetings to align on priorities and share best practices
• Handle end-to-end projects that can span a full month, from discovery and running models to dealing with technical debt, delivery, and impact management
🤔 What you can expect:
Technical Excellence: You'll work with DBT as our primary data modeling tool, focusing on dimensional modeling and building robust data foundations. We value thorough analysis phases and put heavy emphasis on upfront technical designs and smart slicing
Collaborative Environment: You'll be part of a team that spans multiple locations (Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, Belgrade) and works seamlessly across time zones. Daily stand-ups with both the Analytics Engineering team and Business Analytics teams ensure smooth collaboration
Growth Opportunities: The role offers potential to change focus areas within the team, moving from Growth to Product or Compliance, with opportunities for technical advancement towards backend and foundational data modeling
Strategic Impact: You'll work on key projects that are strategic for the company, with your models directly supporting acquisition, attribution, and marketing analytics

🤝 About your future manager
Your manager will be Alice Fresko, our Lead Analytics Engineer. Alice joined Qonto in 2021 and has grown from Data Analyst to Lead Analytics Engineer, playing a key role in shaping our data modeling practices and analytics engineering culture. She brings both technical expertise and vision for data modeling, passionate about creating robust data foundations while promoting a culture of knowledge sharing. 🏅 About You
Experience: You have a minimum of 4 years of experience as an Analytics Engineer. You're autonomous and can provide expert consulting to Business Analysts without requiring significant supervision
Data Modeling Expertise: You have strong data modeling skills, particularly in dimensional modeling, and can design efficient, scalable data models that optimize performance
Technical Flexibility: You're comfortable with DBT as the primary data modeling tool but open to working with other technologies. You can write scalable, maintainable code following modern engineering principles
Business Partnership: You have excellent communication skills to understand and challenge business needs, translating complex business requirements into technical solutions independently
Project Management: You can handle multi-step projects involving cross-team collaboration, managing end-to-end delivery from discovery to impact measurement.
