About Perceptyx

At Perceptyx, we’re on a mission to help organizations turn employee insights into measurable impact. Our AI-enabled employee experience platform leverages the science of listening, behavioral nudges, and predictive analytics to help clients elevate engagement, retention, and performance. We’re a team of innovators fueled by purpose, collaboration, and excellence — and we’re looking for someone who wants to play at the highest level.

The Role

Perceptyx is the People Activation System. We help close to a third of the Fortune 100 turn employee insight into action, behavior change, and real capability across three connected products: Discover, Activate, and Develop. That means a lot of complex workflows and data, and design is how we make it feel simple.
As a Product Designer, you’ll own defined features end to end. You’ll frame the problem, explore the workflow, prototype, ship polished UI, and stay close through build and visual QA. You’ll run your product area independently and partner with design leadership on the bigger, messier problems.
This is a hands-on, mid-level IC role. If you love detailed product work, tight collaboration with PMs and engineers, and seeing your work ship, let’s talk.

What You’ll Do

  • Own defined features or workstreams from problem framing through launch
  • Turn research, customer needs, requirements, and technical constraints into flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces
  • Explore multiple solutions and iterate on feedback from customers, stakeholders, and the product team
  • Design the full experience: interactions, edge cases, responsive behavior, accessibility, and system states
  • Build with our design system, and contribute reusable patterns when you find gaps
  • Present design decisions with clear rationale, and give and take critique well
  • Partner with Product and Engineering through planning, build, and visual QA
  • Keep a distributed team in the loop on progress, tradeoffs, and dependencies

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of product or UX design experience, or equivalent demonstrated capability
  • A portfolio of shipped digital product work that shows your individual contribution, reasoning, and iteration
  • Fluency in Figma, from flows and prototypes to polished UI and handoff
  • Experience designing multi-step, data-rich, or complex workflows
  • Experience designing responsive, accessible experiences within a design system
  • A track record of working closely with PMs and engineers
  • Comfort working async across a distributed team

Nice to Have

  • B2B SaaS, enterprise, analytics, or workflow product experience
  • Usability testing or customer research experience
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end constraints
  • Hands-on use of AI tools, LLMs, Figma Make, or other code-adjacent tools

Our Interview Process & AI Transparency

At Perceptyx, we value your time and want our interviewers to be fully engaged in the conversation.
  • Note-Taking: We use Metaview.ai to record and summarize our interviews. This allows our hiring team to focus on you rather than typing notes, ensuring a fairer and more accurate evaluation of your experience.
  • AI Disclosure: While we use AI to assist in summarizing interview data, all final hiring decisions are made by Perceptyx employees. We do not use automated tools as the sole basis for selecting or rejecting candidates.
  • Your Choice (Opt-Out): Participation in recorded interviews is voluntary. If you prefer not to have your interview recorded via Metaview, please notify your recruiter prior to the start of the session. Opting out will not negatively impact your candidacy.

Equal Opportunity & Accommodations

Perceptyx is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We welcome all qualified applicants regardless of background and are committed to an inclusive, accessible hiring process. If you need any accommodation during recruitment, just let us know. We handle your personal information in line with applicable data protection laws.

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.
Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
