The Role
The IT Support Specialist role provides helpdesk support to Perceptyx's employees while leading special project work like automating systems. You will interface with the broader Security and Technical Operations teams to provide timely resolutions to support requests. A high level of quality service and a constant drive for improved efficiency are central to this role.
What You’ll Do
- Helpdesk & Technical Support: Prioritize and respond to help desk requests in accordance with company procedures.
- System Administration: Administer a catalog of SaaS software, including user management, and monitor system use to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Hardware Management: Troubleshoot Windows PCs and Apple MacOS desktops/laptops, and set up new computers and monitors in a remote environment.
- Automation & Maintenance: Automate repetitive tasks and perform scheduled software/hardware upgrades and new installations.
- Security & Compliance: Maintain and update Windows and MacOS operating systems and browsers to ensure security.
- Documentation & Resources: Create and maintain knowledge resources such as FAQ libraries and intranet sites, while facilitating documentation for inventory control and auditing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Office Services for workspace moves and assist other areas of the business as needed.
What You Bring
- Experience: 2–5 years of work experience in IT support or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical experience with Windows and/or Mac operating systems is required.
- AI Proficiency: You are proficient in using AI as a troubleshooting tool.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent technical, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
- Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills; able to communicate diplomatically at all levels.
- Operational Excellence: Detail-oriented and highly accurate, with the ability to perform a variety of tasks in a safe, productive, and fast-paced environment.
- Education: Working towards an Associate Degree or higher in Information Technology is preferred.
